Off-Page SEO for Beginners 2020
In this post, I’ll talk about off-page SEO, another aspect of SEO. In off-page SEO, we submit our website URL on other websites and get a backlink to our website. Backlinks or Incoming Links we get when someone gives a link to our website on their website.
In on-page SEO, we were making changes to the website. Here we will not make changes to the site; we will just use the URL and place our website link on the third-party websites.
Below are some websites, we can submit or put our urls on these websites and get backlinks to our website.
Guest Blogging
Guest blogging means you can post your blog on other blog websites as a guest author with a link to your website. You can submit your blog by taking approval from the blog owner. But first, you have to send an email to request them to post your blog on their website.
Find Mentions
It means if some websites have mentioned your name but have not provided a link to your website, you can reach out to such websites and request them to give a link to your website on your mention. We can find such Mentions by Google alerts or some other sites like mention.com and buzzsumo.
Competitor Backlinks
You can get backlinks from your competitor’s backlinks’ websites as well. Put your URL on that website from where your competitors are getting backlinks. You can find the backlinks of your competitors by various tools. Some useful tools are semrush, ahrefs.com, and moz.com.
Local Business Directories
Local directory websites are where we can submit your business information and URL. Examples of these local business websites are Yellow pages, Yelp, whitepages.com.
Press Releases
If we have a press release, this is just like an article. In a press release, we will write about our new launches or services we are going to offer with our website URL. Some examples are PR.com and Free-Press-Release.com
Article Submissions
We need to write quality, unique articles, including our website link on any keyword to submit to these websites. There are some excellent article submission websites like sites.google.com and ezine articles, but make sure we write exceptional quality 2500 words articles related to our business industry.
PDF Submissions
If we have some good PDFs, then we can submit to the PDF submission websites with the URL of our website. Some examples are Slideshare, authorstream.com, and edocr.com.
Infographics Submissions
Infographics are large images containing the visual representation of information, knowledge, or data. We can create an infographic if we have some information that we can design in an image. Then later, we can submit to these websites. Some websites to submit infographics are visual.ly and Flickr.
Video Submissions
If you have some excellent videos, then you can submit your videos to video submission websites. Not only YouTube, but there are some other useful video submission websites available like Dailymotion and Vimeo to provide your videos.
