WordPress Plugin for Web Stories by Google
Google has announced a beta WordPress plugin for Web Stories. It is a custom editor for creating Web Stories (formerly AMP stories) in WordPress. Web Stories are tappable, engaging visual stories powered by AMP technology. The final version of the plugin will be released late this summer. The current version of the plugin is missing animation and page attachment support.
How to install the Stories for WordPress plugin?
The WordPress Plugin for Web Stories is in beta and will be available on WordPress.org. This you can download as zip, then:
- Go to Plugins > Add New.
- Click the Upload Plugin button at the top.
- Select the zip file from your local drive.
- Click the Install Now.
- When the installation is complete and “Plugin installed successfully.” Click the Activate Plugin button.
